The Lok Satta Party today reiterated that violence has no place in a democracy.

Party spokespersons Katari Srinivasa Rao and Mrs. K. Geetha Murthy were commenting on the incidents at Karamchedu in Prakasam district in which TDP leader Mrs. Nannapaneni Rajakumari was injured and the car of Mr, Karanam Balaram was damaged.

“It is but natural that in a multi-party democracy, people belonging to different parties do have different views on many matters. Therefore, we should learn to disagree without being disagreeable.”

The Lok Satta leaders said that politicians belonging to all hues should engage themselves in honest and dignified political debates and refrain from scurrilous personal attacks.
