MEDIA RELEASE

UPA - 2 FOUR YEAR CELEBRATIONS

UPA 2 celebrated their four years in existence with a muted celebration as most of the associates shunning the celebratory dinner. Even the speeches by Sonia Gandhi and PM was low key aimed at galavanising the public by highlighting the various achievements of the government.

We fail to understand how can they claim achievements when the country and its citizens are going through extreme hardships due to the following:

- Price Rise -citizens have witnessed price rise in virtually every product viz. electricity, water, food products, milk, communication, fuel cost

- Scams - by the dozen with the famous being 2G, CWG, Adarsh, Coalgate, Railgate, Food

- Inspite of many ministers going to jail for the irregularities the government remained defiant in the face of massive corruption - they choose to brazen it out

- Delhi Government is bent on doling out Rs.25000 crores to DISCOMS who have been marauding the system with impunity - large scale corruption and price rise

- Security is at the lowest in cities especially metro and mini-metros with rapes, dacoities and other heinous crimes being committed with no respite. police is helpless as it is more required for guarding the VVIP's & VIP rather than citizens - this when the Home Minister himself being an ex-policeman.

- THE ONLY ACHIEVEMENT WE CAN CLAIM IS THAT THERE IS NO OPPOSITION WITH BJP & CONG BEING HAND IN GLOVE IN ALL SCAMS AND IRREGULARITIES

BJP has now started to clamour for action since elections are close and they need to get their act together for the public when they feel citizens are simpletons whereas citizens are very intelligent and have seen through the game.

Delhi does not have water, electricity and security and government has no plans except for raising prices and corraborating in the loot by claiming its share.

2013 & 2104 will surely see a change in the governments both in Delhi and Centre and people will have much to rejoice post the elections.
